Amara POV As the day rolled by I found myself thinking of our moment in the library. I thought to ask Estra about his family, but I think I’d rather get that information from him, instead. If he’ll ever tell me. “This is the gown.” Estra held up a beautiful emerald green gown. My eyes slightly widened at the sight of it. “Wow.” I said. My fingers reaching for the silky fabric. Sebastian picked this for me? You wouldn’t think so.. I never knew a man could have such good taste in women’s things. She began to dress me, tying on a few layers of skirts before pulling the dress over my head. Then she laced the back of the dress. She did my hair in loose curls, then pinned the front back so that I wouldn’t have hair in my face. Sebastian POV Seeing Amara wear the gown I’d chosen for her pleased me. I wanted us to look like a happy, united couple in front of my cousin. Better for him to think we’re happy than not. The last thing I needed was for him to try something with her. And knowing him, he definitely will before he marries this Lola girl. Aside from that, she looked beautiful in the gown. She looked like a Queen. And that’s exactly how I want people to look at her. Not as an Alpha’s daughter. But as my wife. Amara POV This morning I woke up to an empty room. Sebastian had gone to do Goddess knows what, and I ended up spending breakfast alone with Lola and her future husband, Braden. It was a torturous hour, I had to excuse myself just to breathe without feeling like I was being stared at like I was a slab of meat that was so either be stabbed or eaten entirely.
