18: You must forgive me

Amara POV

As the day rolled by I found myself thinking of our moment in the library. I thought to ask Estra about his family, but I think I’d rather get that information from him, instead. If he’ll ever tell me.

“This is the gown.” Estra held up a beautiful emerald green gown. My eyes slightly widened at the sight of it.

“Wow.” I said. My fingers reaching for the silky fabric. Sebastian picked this for me? You wouldn’t think so.. I never knew a man could have such good taste in women’s things.

She began to dress me, tying on a few layers of skirts before pulling the dress over my head. Then she laced the back of the dress.

She did my hair in loose curls, then pinned the front back so that I wouldn’t have hair in my face. She placed my crown on my head and began to do light make up.

“You are so beautiful, my Queen.” She said, a smile forming on her small lips.

“Thank you, Estra.” I returned the smile.
