Chapter 4

Next day

(London)

Arjun -

He landed in New York with his two best friends Rohan and Siddharth. It's been so long since they three had travelled together. So they were planning to enjoy this trip for the fullest. And also this will be Arjuns last trip  before he gets married. It was only 2 PM and they have about 2 hours for their meeting. So they went to a hotel and had their lunch.

By the time they have finished having their lunch it was the time for the meeting. Arjun told his friends to wait for him in the mansion but they decided to tag along with him. When they arrived at "Raz Empire " building it was sharp 4pm. They were guided to the conference room. They were waiting for the CEO to come because they needed to sign the deal and seal it off. All of them were engrossed in their private talk when they heard the sounds of a heels and felt that everyone in the room got tensed. They knew that the CEO has arrived. That's when Arjun decided to look up. The moment he look up he was met with very familiar figure that he tried to forget all these years. Arjun was shocked and he couldn't utter a word. That's when he whispered the name that he dreaded to utter all these years.

"Anna" he whispered huskily yet in a very low tone.

No one could here it but Rohan and Siddharth could clearly here the name. They were shocked. They clearly knew that Arjun didn't like to talk about her . her name was considered as something they wanted to remember. So they were surprised to hear he utter that name in here. So they also  decided to look up. That's when they saw the familiar figure. They were surprised to see her here. They wanted to speak something but no words came from their mouths.

Arjun was shocked. To say that he was taken by surprise was an understatement. He looked at her with a surprised face. He thought that she was an employee here. He made a mental note that he should speak with her after the meeting. His trance was broken when someone told to begin the meeting. But he couldn't understand. He couldn't see the CEO. That's when the woman in front of him broke the silence.

"Hello Mr. Singhaniya. I am Iziyana Meyline De Raz . CEO of the company . And one who is in charge of this project. My brother is out of the country so I will be the one signing the deal. Nice to meet you. Let's begin the meeting, shall we???" the woman said.

Arjun couldn't believe what he was hearing. His friend Ana , the sweet innocent Ana, who he thought that was a scholarship student was the CEO of one of the most powerful company in the world. And she said that she is a 'Raz'. He couldn't believe what she is saying. That clearly says that she is the daughter of the mysterious businessman Richard De Raz. He was angry at her for hiding her identity but what could he do he also hid his identity didn't he .

Rohan and Siddharth were surprised and they were taken off guard. They never imagined that they would meet each other this way. Their friend Ana was no one else but Iziyana De Raz ,daughter of Richard De Raz. They couldn't digest the fact properly.

Without saying anything Arjun replied "yes Ms, Raz. Let's get this done with".

"Cool. Let's start". He could hear her saying.

So with that they get on to business. After discussing facts, they signed the contract without any problem. Arjun badly wanted to talk to her but before he even say a world she was out of the room.

Anna -

Ana woke up at the usual time and did her morning business. Today she has an important meeting. She was excited because after today she can go to her carefree lifestyle. He brother promised her that he will allow her to do anything after this deal is closed. So after doing her business she went to the living room to meet her family. Alex and Alexissa were there too. They were playing. Anna was guilty. She was not like any other mom. She didn't have any time to spend with her children. It was always her mom and dad who were with Alex and Alexissa. She wanted to be a good mother but she had no ideas. For god ' s sake she was only 25. She loved the kids so much but she had no idea how to become a motherly figure for them. But she promised herself that after this deal is closed, she will spend some time with her children.

So after spending the morning with her family she headed to the company. There were so many things she had to do. There should be no mistakes she thought to herself. After reaching the 'Ras' building she directly went to her cabin and engrossed herself in her work. In a blink of a time the time has passed and it was time for the meeting. Her PA informed that the CEO of the Indian company has arrived and is waiting in the conference room. So without any delay she went to the room.

But the scene she saw when he entered the office shocked the hell out of her. A man she didn't want to see ever again was there. A man that she couldn't face was in front of her after 4 long years. The flash backs from that regretful day came to her memory. She wanted to run. She wanted get the hell out of here as fast as possible. She knew that he was also shocked. Actually she was also shocked. Ana knew that he was rich but she didn't know that he was the heir if the most powerful company in India. She could hear the faint whisper of his voice and it brought her back to reality.

"Ana" he addressed her with so much emotion in his voice. She could hear it. But she composed herself. This is not the time to any private talks or someplace to get emotional . This is business. So without any hesitation she introduced herself to him.

"Hello Mr Singhaniya. I am Iziyana Maylene De Raz . And I am in charge of this project. Let's begin shall we " she told him.

She could clearly see the shocked faces of him and his friends. But without any delay they also agreed to begin the meeting. So without any kind of trouble they successfully sealed the deal.

Ana knew that Arjun must have wanted to speak with her. But she was not ready. She didn't want to face him not now , not ever so the moment the meeting was over , before anyone ever utter any single world she bid her goodbye and ran outside. She was scared to face him. She didn't want to argument with him for an incident happen long ago. She had forgotten about it and she didn't want to reopen the wounds again.

She quickly grabbed her phone and dialed her best friends and inform them to meet her in their usual place. She was happy that she has crazy bunch of friends. Though they all were rich spoilt brats who doesn't give a shit about anything they five has already had each other in their backs. They were best friends since diaper ages. For her dismay the one who knew everything was not in the country. She wanted Xavier more than ever. So she quickly sent a message to Xavier to come to meet her as soon as possible. For now she will share the problems with others.

Because Ana and Izak were twins from childhood they were inseparable. Then came Sierra William's daughter of the "William's .co" . They met each other in the first day of the kindergarten. For some reason they instantly clicked and become friends afterwards. After that Jayden Votz and Adrian Anderson joined there gang. And then Xav. Everyone knew that Xavier Knight and Iziyana Raz were best friends. Although Xavier was a cold and a ruthless businessman  and one of the most powerful man in US he was like a puppy in front of Ana. He was her mother's best friends son  and now her best friend. All of them were from the most prominent families in London. Because of the same personality, same interests , same lifestyle they instantly joined hands and become friends. From those days they were inseparable. Lots of people were jealous of their friendship . Some tried broke them apart but none succeeded. They did everything together partying , clubbing, racing . But because of one mistake they were separated. They were sent to five different countries to complete their studies and although Xav and she were in the same university they behaved like strangers for years. That didn't change anything though. Everyone thought that after 3 years of separation they might have changed and found new friends. But it was an impossible thing to happen. Only they knew how much they had missed each other. Moment they came to their motherland after completing their studies they were again inseparable. So today they stand together as one even after so many years. Though they have different professional lives in the daytime at the end of the day they were the same carefree youngsters who played together in their teen years. No one was able to separate them in the past and no one will in the future either.

Thinking about her friends brought a smile to Ana's face. Without any delay she went to meet her friends in their usual spot.
