Chapter 31: Second Wish
Aria's POV:
I couldn't believe that Dylan was the one responsible for the death of my grandma. I keep my head down and couldn't look him in the eyes for I am ashamed of myself for causing all of this. If it wasn't for me, my grandma wouldn't be forced to make those wishes. I saw Dylan staring at me in disbelief. Is he thinking the same thing?
I never expected that our paths had crossed before. Could it be fate and am I destined to be with him? So many questions are bombarded inside my head and all of these revelations are creating more confusion rather than clarity.
"Aria, I didn't know and I don't remember anything. Please believe me," he desperately said to me trying to explain.
He must be afraid that I would hate him for being the Djinn and for taking my grandma's life. I don't know how to react, and I can't utter a single word.
