I had the feeling he wasn't telling me the truth. Let me rephrase that, I don't think he is lying but it also feels like he is hiding something from me.

"I see why you hate Jack so much," I said and he grunted in reply.

"Have you seen her since then? Have you tried to talk to her?" I asked.

"No. I tried to look for her once but I couldn't find her. It was like she had disappeared from the world and I didn't care much about her anymore so I didn't bother to dig too deep." He replied.

"So you judged that she was cheating on you from just one picture?" I asked.

His face hardened. "What are driving at, Em?"

"Trust me you don't want to hear it," I said.

"I just think it is weird that you accepted that she was cheating on you from just one picture. You didn't even get to hear.."
