10. Not all seem the same

Freyja's POV

The moment the arrogant Prince walked out, I heaved a sigh of relief. I was scared, I had thought he would scold me for riding his dragon, but he didn't. And with that out of the way, I have to think of how to survive in this strange kingdom.

“Oh, my darling… I hope the Prince wasn't hard on you?“ The voice of the Queen snapped me out of my thoughts.

I looked at her and lowered my head shyly. I was not sure how to act before this powerful woman.

"I knew it, but you know what? Don't put it in mind. He can be abrasive on the outside, it's all a facade… when you get to know him well, you will know that he is soft and considerate," the Queen added with a smile

“Not at all, my Queen. He's been good to me," I responded with my head still bowed.
