She’s back

Seated in my study room, I grew increasingly fatigued from the constant stream of phone calls. The new phone I had designated for Timbre's search kept ringing incessantly, yet none of the calls proved fruitful.

Frustration welled up within me, and I started regretting my decision to share it on social media. "They're only interested in money," I muttered, shaking my head as I left the study room.

Making my way to the living room, I noticed its emptiness. Perhaps everyone was still occupied with their efforts to locate Timbre, or they had resigned themselves to their usual daily routines.

"But I can't give up, can I?" I whispered to myself, sinking into one of the couches and retrieving my personal phone from my pocket.

Curiosity led me to check Instagram for any messages from Bianca, but she had left me on read. In frustration, I threw my phone onto the couch and grasped my head in anguish.
