It had been 20 days and Aslan was a bit lost. Elena was trying to make him talk but he was not opening up.

Elena couldn’t do anything but keep an eye on him. She knew he was feeling guilty for wasting the time when he could actually put the matter at rest and make his family a happy one.

He even knew about his mother and how she had woven the lie so she could give them an idol father figure.

Elena checked herself in the mirror. It was cold outside now. It was freaking October after all. She knew she will need a jacket.

She peeked into the study and found him working frantically on the laptop.

He was looking hot. His beard was back and his black shirt was suiting

him.

“What is it, sunshine?” He spoke without looking up or stopping between typing.

“Ummm. Elle, Jo and I are meeting for a lunch.”

“Ok.” His tone was flat, indifferent.

“I think you should go out too.” She spoke after a while.

His fingers stopped and he looked up at her. “Fine, we will go out for a dinner.”
