Chapter 12: Analina's New Life Starts Now

Analina's P.O.V.

         I get to the dining room, and everyone is already there, I go over to where I normally sit and notice that in Rodrick's, Stavros is seated there instead. I sit down and right away Rodrick has to tease. "You took my seat Stavros, I wonder why." He wiggles his eye brow up and down to add to his teasing. "Shut up, Rodrick." Stavros says rolling his eyes. "Don't get me wrong man, It's actually good to see you genuinely happy for once in the past three years." As were all eating my brother, Rocco and Maverick walks in unannounced.

         "This relationship or whatever it between Stavros and Analina ends NOW!!! She is to marry Rocco, contract’s already written and signed. I took the liberty of signing for Analina since she is under age. As of right now She and Rocco are engaged!!!"

"You can't do that to your sister, Jonathan, plus I’m her father and has final say!" "Not this time dad." "I agree with our son, John." "NO ONE, AND I. MEAN. NO. ONE. WILL EVER TAKE AWAY MY FREEDOM AGAIN, NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE!!!" She screams at her brother as she walks over and punches him the face, she then punches Rocco. "That's for what you did to your father." she says as she walks off "I'm going to the library." She pushes Rocco and Maverick aside as she walks out of the dining room.

She walked up to Jonathan asking for proof of this contract, he hands her document, and after reading it she looks at the lit candles on the table and puts a corner of the paper into the flame. When it gets down close to her fingers she throws it at her brother. As she past Maverick she hears him say in concern voice. "I don't blame you for being upset, everyone she should be allowed to marry for love." He says this while giving her a friendly and comforting hug.   

                       

                        

Jonathan, taking off  now singed suit jacket, and hands it to Rocco as he watches Maverick comfort and console his baby sister. After she walks out of the room he questions him: “What are you doing? You're supposed to be my best friend.” “I don’t agree with what you are doing to her, not one bit.” “It's for her own good. Listen when these men, if she picks one of them, because of their huge age-gap, he'll be in his seventies while she will be in her late  forties early fifties. That is not what I want for her, how can she be happy knowing that they won't be aging together.”

To his surprise his mother was listening in: “I agree with Jonathan, this is not what I want for my daughter.” “It's not up to any one of you, this is her life, and I refuse to take away her freedom, yet again. Let's continue this in my office.” John says to his wife and son. Entering the office they all take seats and wait for John to begin talking, but it wasn't John that started the conversation, it was Stavros.

“John and Analina are right, Jonathan. This is nobody's decision but Her’s, not even mine.” He says in a sad tone. Jonthan then  looks around the room and says. “I just wants what's best for my sister, is that so much to ask? I know that you're in love with her but so isn't Andre, Zanders, Pablo, Ricco and Rocco. I'm just afraid that in the long run she'll realize that she made a mistake and become unhappy and hurt, also hurt the man that she chooses. Think about it, how do you think she’s going to feel when you are on your death bed, dying before she does.

It’s all going to come crashing down on top of her. I want to prevent that feeling for her. DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND? DON’T YOU LOVE HER ENOUGH TO NOT LET HER GO THROUGH THAT KIND OF PAIN?” “Listen son, we understand, but when you really love each other the outcome doesn't  matter. I'm sure that all four guys have thought long and hard about it before approaching Analina.” “I say we go through with Jonathan's plans, John. It is what's best for our daughter.” “I'm going to stop you right there, Liliana, what is best for her is her happiness and that she has the choice to choose what she wants.

Also, so she doesn't feel like she is trapped or caged. LET HER KEEP HER GOD DAMN FREEDOM!!! Jonathan leave, this doesn't concern you.” He combs a hand through his hair and turn around calling to Rocco to follow. Maverick soon joins them in the foyer, and they leave making their way to Stratton Inc.

John looks over at his wife. “Have you not learned anything about her or the feelings that she is harboring from being kidnapped?” “That isn't fair.” “What isn't fair is that her mother is taking her brother's side. Her happiness and comfort comes first, not OUR FEELINGS but Her’s” Liliana knowing that she is not going to get anywhere walks out to get ready to leave for work. “Are you alright?” John says to Stavros. “Yeah man, I can see where they are coming from, call me selfish but I refuse to give up on her, until she has made her choice.” He nods at him agreeing with his answer. “John, I need to go to see my lawyer today, I'm thinking at Analina's ten o'clock break and then take her out to lunch before coming back. Of  course we'll be taking Enzo with us.”

“That's fine just call me before and when you get back.” “Sure, I plan on using the safety precautions.” With that being said they leave the office to start their day. Stavros makes his way to the library, wandering why Enzo isn't outside of the door keeping guard, as he walks in and closes the door he finds out. Standing behind Analina, Enzo is massaging her shoulders, he raises an eye brow to him, telling him to explain. “Sorry, I'm just helping her get rid of the tension so she can concentrate.” He nods.

At ten AM they get ready to head out to Stavros lawyer's office. When they arrived, he has them wait outside the office door. Checking in with the secretary he is then escorted to the office. “Hi, Mr. Karno.” “Mr. Andrews.” he returns the greeting. Taking the divorce documents out of the inside pocket of his blazer he hands them to Mr. Andrews. He looks them over with a fine-tooth comb and leaning back in his chair with his hands behind his head he confirms. “Everything is in order, you can sign. There is nothing that can come back and bite you in the ass.” “Good to know.”

After signing the papers and having his lawyer deal with the rest he exits out of the building with Analina and Enzo trailing behind him. He comes to a stop and waits for them to catch up, putting his arm around Analina he says: “Where would like to go for lunch?” “How about The Feedlot?” Analina asks beaming. “Ok. Any problem with that Enzo?” “No, that's fine. They have good food there.” So, the three of them make their way towards The Feedlot Diner for lunch, on foot since it is in walking distance.

The trio enters the diner and lets the hostess seat them, asking for side booth up against the wall. (this way no one from the outside walking pass can see them) He doesn't want any of Draven's men to find her, especially while running  private errands'.  The waitress comes over with three glasses of water, silverware and menus.
