Asher’s Point of View

I slam a stack of papers down onto my desk.

“Bianca, I told you already, just drop it.”

She is standing in front of me, her arms tightly folded in front of her chest, her eyes blazing.

“No, Asher, I won’t drop it. My brother’s pack is strong. An alliance with them would only benefit us. Why can’t you see that?”

“Because I don’t need him!”

I snap, standing up so quickly my chair scrapes against the floor.

“We don’t need him. If I wanted his alliance, I would have taken it the first time he offered. Gods, Bianca, why do you keep nagging me about this?”

I ask, dragging a hand down my face, trying to calm myself down.

“I am not nagging you, Asher. I am just trying to help you! I am your mate, the mother of your child. Why won’t you even listen to me?”

My fists clench at my sides. My wolf growling inside of me.

“You are not my mate, or even my Luna!”

I roar at her, my chest heaving.

“These are not your decisions to make, Bianca! Do you h

Sienna’s Point of View The café is warm when I step inside, filled with the hum of voices and the scent of freshly baked bread. Emma waves me over as soon as I walkin, her blonde hair pulled into a messy bun, her smile wide. “There you are! I was beginning to think you ditched me.” She teases. I laugh softly as I slide into the seat across from her. “You would just hunt me down if I did.” “You are right about that.” She says, grinning at me. “So, what are we having today? Sandwiches? Salads? Don’t even try to say soup because I am starving.” I rolled my eyes at her. “Sandwiches sound good. Something with actual substance.” “Perfect.” She says, waving the waitress over. "Hello there, what can I get you two today? She asks with a smile. “Hi, can I get a toated chicken mayo with cheese, please. And an vanilla iced coffee.” Emma says and the waitress nods her head as she scribbles on her pad before looking at me. "What about you?" She asks me with

Sienna’s Point of View I wave to Aiden as he runs toward the school doors, his backpack bouncing against his back. “Bye, Mommy!” He yells over his shoulder. “Bye, baby! Have a good day!” I call back, smiling as he disappears inside. I turn, quickly making my way towards the clinic but by the time I reach the clinic, the corridors are already buzzing with voices. A nurse hurries towards me, her face pale. “Dr. Hayes thank the Goddess you are here. We’ve got incoming.” My stomach drops. “What happened?” “There was a rogue sighting at the southern border. A patrol clashed with them. Two warriors are badly hurt. Caleb isn't on the territory. All we have is you and Dr. Aimes.” I don’t waste another second as I nod my head. “Okay, prep the trauma room. Get me some gloves, gauze, and sutures. Now.” I say and she nods, rushing off. Moments later, the door bursts open and warriors carry in two men, one bleeding from a deep gash along his side, the other pale with a m

Sienna’s Point of View “So, I know you already said you had a good day, but give me and honest opinion. First day at the clinic. One to ten?” I glance at him with a little grin. “Hmm. A solid eight.” “An eight?” He repeats with mock offense. “Why not a ten?” “An eight is still very good.” I tease before my face turns serious. “I just… it’s new. It will take me a little time before I am completely comfortable in my new environment.” I and he nods his head. “Fair enough, but by the end of the week, I’ll expect at least a nine.” He says, smirking and I laugh, shaking my head. “We'll see.” I say as we turn the corner towards the schoolyard, where kids are already pouring out of the doors. I spot Aiden instantly. His eyes scan the crowd before landing on me. His face lights up, his bright backpack bouncing as he runs towards me. “Mom! Uncle Scott!” He shouts, barreling into me. I crouch down, hugging him tight. “Hey, sweetheart. How was your day?”

Sienna’s Point of View “Okay, bug, are you ready?”I ask as Aiden and I walk up the steps to the school. He nods his head excitedly as he practically bounces up the steps.“I'm ready! Do you think I’ll make friends today?”He asks, and I hear the slight nervousness in his voice. I crouch down to his level to fix his jacket zipper.“Of course you will, baby. You make friends everywhere you go.”I say, smiling at him. He leans closer to me.“Do you think that they will like my dragon drawing?”He asks in a loud whisper and I laugh softly as we continue to make our way towards his class.“If they don’t, then they don’t know what good art is.”I say. He grins at me.We stop in front of his class and I crouch down again."Well, here we are. You be good today, okay?"I say and he nods my head. I pull him closer to me, hugging him and he hugs me back tightly. "I'll see you after my shift, okay?"I ask and he nods his head."Okay, bye mom!"He says and gives me a quick kiss before making hi

Sienna’s Point of View The dining hall smells like fresh bread and roasted meat when we walk in, and Aiden’s eyes go wide. “Mom! Look at all the food and people!” Emma laughs, ruffling his hair. “Don’t worry, kiddo, you will get used to it. there is always plenty of food and people around here.” "This is a bigger pack, baby. There are more people here so they need more food. But that also means you'll have more friends here." I say, ruffling his hair. He pouts a little as his eyes scan the dining hall. "I miss Luke..." He mumbles and I sigh. "I know, bug, but he will come visit and you will make new friends in no time." I say smiling at him and he gives me a small smile in return. Scott waves a hand toward a table near the center. “Come on, sit with us. I want to introduce you to a few people.” He says before leading us to the table. We all sit down, and almost immediately a tall man with sandy hair walks over, smiling warmly. “Sienna, this is Mark. He
