Chapter 56

KEENA

"Round two?" Ward says as he places little kisses all over my chest.

I loudly moan and grab his hair pulling him away from me.

"We shouldn't," I breathe out. "You are still healing."

"It is funny that you say that," Ward chuckles between kisses, "because I am feeling much better."

My mind is swimming in ecstasy and all I want is to feel Ward touch every inch of my body. But I know that if I don't stop him now I won't be able to stop him at all. There is nothing stopping us from going all of the way but I am not sure that I am ready for that.

Grabbing Ward by the sides of his head, I force him to look me in the eyes. "I don't think that I am ready for more," I tell him honestly.

Ward rolls off to the side and glances over my body one final time with a satisfied look on his face. "Fair enough," he huffs. "I didn't really give you much of a chance to think things over."

Getting up from the bed I go to walk into my closet when Ward reaches out and grabs my ass.
