Chapter 60

WARD

Leaning up against my bathroom sink with my arms crossed over my chest, I listen for Keena to ask Kayla to leave but she doesn't. Peeking through the little crack I left in the bathroom door, I see Keena leaving with Kayla and my heart drops slightly. I was hoping to talk to her this morning about the vision I had before I woke up in the hospital.

While I was watching her fall asleep last night I came to the decision that I would tell her what the Moon Goddess said to me. Hell, she may not even believe that it is true. She will probably think that it was just my drug induced imagination cooking up something crazy.

Only I hope that it wasn't. I hope that what I saw was real. I want Keena to choose me. I want to be her mate. Fated or not we belong together. The bond between us is too strong to deny that.
