I squealed in delight as I hugged Triss as hard as I could without hurting her. I wasn’t surprised I hadn’t noticed her stomach when I saw her. Triss, much like the women in her pack, favored big, colorful, flowing dresses.

Triss laughed in pleasure at my open joy.

“Tri that’s amazing. Do you know if it’s a boy or a girl yet? How many months gone are you?

Does your baby have a godmother?

Can I be the godmother?”

I laughed delightedly as I shot her rapid-fire questions in quick succession.

“Not yet, I’ve decided to wait until birth.

I’m 23 weeks pregnant.

No, my baby doesn’t have godparents yet.

Yes, you can be the godmother.

And please calm down and ask your questions one at a time.” Triss replied in one breath, with laughter in her eyes.

“I’m sorry Tri, I was just so excited. I love that you’re having a baby” I said with a soft smile.

Triss hugged me and looked pleased that I was happy for her.

still find Daliana a bit mushy in the head! shouldn't she learnt not to trust añything of discretion to a someone she just met no matter how nice they're without proper insights to their true intentions. Wouldn't trust the hpn to anyone for whatever reasons!
