Chapter 27

Amelia jumped a little when she heard that sound.

"What was that?"

She heard nothing. "Wait, who said that?" She asked again.

Alpha Alex knocked on the door. He smiled a little on his end. "It was me"

"How did you talk to me without talking to me?" The question had seemed a little funny to ask but she needed to know. How was it possible that he had spoken to her but she couldn't hear him outside?

"I told you, you are my mate and as such, we are connected."

He asked for permission to open the door and walked in.

"I can link with you now that you are my mate. All that is left is for me to Mark you and perform the mating ceremony. After that, we would be good to go"

Amelia was speechless. She had heard that Mates were able to communicate with each other but never had she had the experience. It felt wonderful.

"Turn around and look at yourself. You are only befitting for a king and no one else. Don't you see that?"

He swirled her a little, back to the mirror and pointed at her reflection.
