Back from the Dead

Damon couldn’t wait to deliver the good news. He climbed down the common room and approached Harper right after they were done hanging the clothes.

He was greeted with the women, who giggled and smiled by the attention he has given them. Though it wasn’t for them directly.

“So, how did it go, my king?” – Harper asked, pertaining to the talk Damon had with Anthony. She clearly had no idea it was about her.

“It went well. Are you done here?”

Harper took a quick glance at the clothes dripping from the clothes line. She nodded at him.

Damon guided her back to the common room where the cleaning ladies were wiping each of the chairs and realized they’re not yet ready for guests. Again, he invited her to his room. There, they both sat down. Harper was puzzled on what this could be about.

“O…okay. Is there something going on here?” – Harper started. Behind him, she looked at the cloak. It was still at the same place she placed it. Phew.
