Esme’s POV

“I will take it.”

Studying had never been a problem, considering I had spent more than half of my life studying, from studying about werewolves to Lycans to human classes and business management.

I was all used to it.

Lady Sue went inside, and I was directed to sit at the reception.

“Esme, Lady Sue said the questions would be ready in thirty minutes. I will come by before you are done. I need to attend to my students.”

“It’s okay; I’m sure I’ll be fine here.” That was a lie. I wasn’t certain about anything with this receptionist and Lady Sue, who seemed to hate me.

However, I didn’t want to hold her back, and I knew that if anything went wrong, I could send a message to Silvan.

I leaned back on the seat and closed my eyes while emptying my thoughts out. After knowing that some people had Lycan powers to read my thoughts, I had been cautious about what I allowed to go through them in public.
