The duel I

It was my turn to fight my opponent and I flexed my muscles before cracking my neck.

I huffed around and looked to the stands to see the women there fawning over me. It was nice to know that I was still the favorite for the ladies amongst my brother and I.

He was always brooding and he wasn’t fun to be around. He was stronger and faster than I was but it didn’t mean I couldn’t take him on in a fight.

I just needed to practice a little more and I would be able to take out my opponents.

“The ring is open for you two to get into,” someone said to me as I nodded, jumping from foot to foot to get myself ready for the fight.

I walked into the ring to hear more cheers from the ladies around. They were about to witness greatness from me.

Turning to a part of the crowd, I found Jane sitting at the top of the row, staring at me with wide eyes.
