I watched her maids take over as the door was closed on my face.

I didn’t want to stand around and look stupid so I walked away.

I headed for the kitchen to see the guards carrying out a dead body of a maid with the entire kitchen staff working tirelessly to discard all cooked foods from the kitchen.

“Since you were not poisoned, I’ll say you weren’t affected, but the food meant for you was switched and eaten by that dead maid while Victoria was given the same poison. The entire kitchen staff would work tirelessly until order is restored.”
