Chapter 9

Isabella’s pov

I was stunned that he had pulled me into a hug, my heart raced in fear and shock wondering why he was acting this way. He immediately pulled away from me in a few seconds and made his way and left, his absence leaving me lonely making me wish he didn't pull away.

I still couldn’t take it off my mind that our mates were out there probably having the best time of their lives while we were here trying to heal from the emotional pain.

I walked out of the lounge making my way back into the house so that I could at least rest, I’ve had enough for the day and don’t plan on stressing myself any further. I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't realize I took a different route than the one we took when coming to the garden earlier.

It was already late when I realized I was lost again and needed to find my way.
