SYLVIA’S POV

Recalling all that had happened in the course of my journey with Brad, one memory I couldn't forget was how I felt after it all and how I couldn't hold back the anger.

I could see the look of shock on Brad’s face. Definitely, he didn’t expect that I would not succumb to his wish, especially when it had to do with my sight. But deep down, I preferred to have my sight, and feel free to do whatever goodwill I wished to do.

But then, having my sight meant that I had to succumb to do evil things which wasn’t me. I couldn’t bear to do evil things. It’s more like I freed myself from a particular bondage just to get into another one.

“Did you hear the words that came out from your mouth? You just said that you prefer to be blind, Sylvia. How can that be possible? How would you be fine with remaining blind? Don’t you recall all the sufferings you've been through, since the time you went blind?” Brad retorted, looking at me with disbelief.
