Chapter Hundred And Eighty Eight

ELIAS'S POV

I opened my eyes slowly, and light flooded in, making me snap them shut. Everywhere was bright, and I felt so peaceful. I finally opened my eyes and took in the sight of my surroundings, after opening and snapping them shut a couple of times.

I looked around. I was in a room with dove gray paint. There was a white desk with drawers. On top of it was a mirror with a white frame. The chair was a mixture of white and grey. There was a wardrobe in the corner, also painted white.

Then, the bed on which I was sleeping had white sheets, and in front of me was a large glass wall, overlooking the beach, crashing peacefully on the sandy shores. The sun was high in the sky, and I couldn't remember the last time the sky had been that bright and beautiful. Where was I?

I sat up, and jumped back as I saw a hand peeping out from under the blankets.
