Chapter Hundred And Eighty Nine

SCARLET'S POV

Carla fell to the floor, with her hand on her heart, breathing heavily.

“Was that Sylvia? Oh jeez, I had to run all the way here.” She said, struggling to breathe. I raised her to her feet, and poured a glass of water for her. She drank greedily and at once, then turned to me, as I began to pick up the shards of the plates.

“I came here to tell you something. What was it?” She asked herself. “What was it? It was really urgent. How could I forget it?” She asked, grabbing her hair, and looking like she was in shock.

I finished packing up the shards, and was about to tell her we had to find Elias when she suddenly screamed.

“Ralph! He's awake! Damn it, he wanted to see you!” She shouted, making her way out of the kitchen, and I followed after her, dashing out of the house, and forgetting to lock the door.

Ralph… Ralph was awake! My hope!

With his help, I was very sure we'd find Elias, and we'd be able to save Sylvia and take out the monster that was in her. Carla and I
