SCARLET’S POV

“Please take good care of her, Elias.” I urged him as I passed Sylvia over to him.

At this point, he was the one who was certain to take good care of her as he ought to.

“Where are you going to, Scarlet?” Elias questioned, looking like he was sensing something was wrong.

“I have to go away to keep the demon from hurting anyone else. If I stay around here, then it’s going to do worse things we would never expect. Now that I have him captive, it’s the best time to be victorious over it.” Scarlet said, boldly without a hint of fear in her eyes.

“Scarlet, if anything is going to get rid of the demon completely, that would be water. It is its true weakness, and that’s why it always hide in the mines.” Ralph informed me.

“Thank you so much Ralph. I’ll put that to test.” I said, feeling assured that the demon would be conquered.

Already, I could feel the demon struggling to control me, but I guess I had a strong will that made it impossible for it to take over completely.
