Chapter Hundred And Ninety

ELIAS'S POV

As I saw her being yanked back into the cave, I held onto her outstretched hands feeling like my heart was going to burst. Due to my sudden outreach, the old lady fell against me, and was going to fall and roll down a little hill.

I grabbed her roughly, but ended up almost being pulled with her into the cave with Scarlet.

“Elias!” Ralph shouted, as Scarlet's hand left mine, and I made to go in.

He pushed me aside roughly, and I struggled to make sure the woman didn't get injured. I hit the floor instead of her, and saw that she was shaking like a leaf, very terrified at what had happened.

“Are you okay?” I asked her, and she nodded, getting off me, and sitting on the floor.

Just then, we heard a loud sound. It was rocks blocking the entrance from nowhere. I only heard Scarlet's final scream before the large rocks blocked every sound.

“Do you want to get killed? You and her would have been crushed with those rocks!” Ralph scolded in anger, but I couldn't even focus on him.
