Forever and ever

Sera looked up and saw Cedric running out the door with her sons and a pained scream tore out of her throat.

She grabbed a dagger and immediately began to chase after him but Alistair grabbed her arm and yanked her back.

“Let me go! He took them!” She screamed, trying to break free from Alistair’s protective grip.

"Stop! who took what?" He growled feeling too anxious to let her out of his sight in the middle of this dangerously bloody battle.

“Cedric! He took my babies!” she cried and Alistair froze as his blood ran cold, then his eyes suddenly flashed bright deadly gold. He was hungry for blood now.

“Stay here! I’ll get them back!”

“No! I’m coming with you!” she yelled, following behind as he headed toward the door.

“Sera! Don’t be stubborn, I said stay!”

“And you would be crazy if you think that I will let you go alone!” She screamed back.

Alistair glared at her and she glared right back.

“Fine we don’t have time to waste, stay behind me, I’ll protect you.”

Sera snorted in annoyance.
