69- The Lead

MARIO'S POV

“Can I let Arianna inside? She's been dying to see you?” Marco walked to the door.

I chuckled lightly. “She misses me? That's very odd.”

“Bambi!” She exclaimed as soon as she walk through that door and saw me on the bed awake.

“Hey Ari, it's so good to see you,” I opened my arms to welcome her big hug.

She jumped on the bed and hugged me. I flinched from pain but she was worth it. I missed her too and I never thought that I would ever wake up and see her again. I was certain that I was going to die when that truck hit me.

“You've been sleeping for so long, are you in pain?” She asked concerned.

I let her sit down next to me on the bed.

“I was in a car accident, but I will be fine now,” I answered with a smile.

“I thought that you were going to leave me,” a tear fell down from her eye.

I held her hand in mine.

“I will never leave you, Ari,” I smiled and kissed her forehead.

She smiled and soon forgot that she was crying.
