Mia’s pov

I was dreaming of Lorenzo pressing kisses against my eyes blinked then open, or perhaps I had been half awake for a while now. As I stared into Lorenzo’s eyes, I felt my heart start to race and thump against the side of my chest as emotions began to flood through every inch of my insides at once. When I moved a little, I realized that Lorenzo was holding my around my waist, with me lying halfway atop his chest. I let out a small yawn and massaged my eyes a little.

There was significant softness in his eyes as he took all of me in. I could feel his hands massaging the joints around my lower back and hips and it took a few moments for all that went down between us last night to crash down on me at once. My mouth fell open for a few seconds but nothing was able to come out. It was like Lorenzo understood what was going through my head right now because an amused look settled on his face. I ducked my face as I felt it darken with color but when I made to roll off his
