Chapter 21

Damian’s POV

I took the keys from one of the men and despite her insisting, I decided I was going to drive her to the hospital to at least get her checked. She had a lot of bruises that made me clench my fist again in anger and wish that I hadn’t killed the man that touched her.

We got to the hospital and I could tell people were surprised when they saw us, the fleet of eyes that followed as we made our way to the doctors office made Hazel slightly uncomfortable as she walked so close beside me that I’ll bump into her with every step I took.

“Mr Gray,” the doctor greeted as we both made our way to his office and I nodded as I sat down, “we only have a few tests to run on her and we can let you know if she’s out of the woods.” He added and I raised an eyebrow.
