Damian’s POV

I tried to keep my eyes open as the night grew darker, I knew how difficult it was for me to sleep at night but tonight was different.

I stroked Hazel’s hair lightly as I planted a kiss on her head and before I knew it. I was in an unfamiliar location, only it wasn’t really unfamiliar.

It was where I stayed before, with Mia.

Running for my life and breathing so hard, I paused to catch my breath as I placed my palm on my chest. But the thought of the man in a mask and a gun in his hand made me have second thoughts.

I kept running as fast as I could and this was unusual, I never would’ve left Mia to deal with the danger alone. But something strange kept happening to me, no matter how hard I tried to run away from the house, I always found myself going back there.

I stared at the house for a minute before running into it in fear, I never got scared of people but this man scared the shit out of me.
