The flyer was one that his mate, Queen Melody, had created and had distributed among the packs. Surely his old friend would have already seen it, but it was possible that Rodney had thrown it away when he received it, seeing as there were no eligible she-wolves in his pack to pay it any interest, so Korrine may not have seen it. It was an announcement for a contest to win his son, Prince Alexander's heart and mating mark. He was now forty-seven years old, and heirless, so his mother was asking every eligible she-wolf in the kingdom to apply to be a contestant, so that the council, as well as the Royal family could choose the best mate for him, in hopes of bringing an heir to pass their dynasty down to in to the world. Korrine had always loved Alexander as a child, and with her very liberating tithes, Alexander would now be able to choose his own mate, regardless of whether the council agreed or not. With the thought, he fired off a quick text to Alpha Callahan to let him know that Stone Hill Creek was not in need of an Alpha before the jet took off.

He would hold his poker face infront of those whom he could not trust, but as he sat on that private jet, he couldn't help but to smile. Never had he imagined that the girl he exiled from his Kingdom would one day come back and be the one to save it. Perhaps this was the Moon Goddess's plan all along. Though she hadn't curtsied the way she always had before he exiled her, she was still polite and respectful-ish. She hadn't outright challenged him, though the look in her eyes told him that she could if she had wanted to. He knew his lifelong friend was right, that girl was different, fearless, and intimidating. She hadn't averted her gaze from him once, always looking him right in the eye, just as her father had taught her to do. As a child she had always averted her gaze, hell, she continued to do it even as a young woman, all the way up to and even after he had exiled her.

He still remembered the day that they had taken her to the train station. James had bought her a train ticket to New Orleans. It is the witches capitol city, but it was also known to be a safe haven for rogue wolves, so James had sent her there to start her new life, and the search for her biological mother. He had damn near emptied out his bank account to ensure she could get by for a little while as well. Alexander had insisted on going with him and James to take her to board her train, so he could tell her goodbye.

Alexander had been head over heels for Korrine, and Reginald hadn't seen him that happy since he had lost Andrea. The entire kingdom had noticed the change in him as well, and had assumed that Korrine would be their next Queen, just as he and Melody had. Of course, fate had different plans though. Now, however, King Reginald couldn't wait to get home to tell his son that Korrine was not only back, but had returned as the fierce and formidable Female Alpha. He wasn't sure how Alexander would feel about her return, but he knew it was sure to cause some issues among the Warden's Council.

Thinking of the council reminded him of how much shame he had felt as he sat in that Alpha office under Korrine's scrutinizing gaze. She hadn't come right out and said it, but a few of her comments had been low blows over the choices he had made to keep his Kingdom afloat. Thinking of her reminded him of the manilla envelope she had given him that held the massive checks she had written. Opening the envelope once again, he decided to take a closer look at the information she had provided, along with those checks. Just thinking of the incredibly large amounts on them made his heart race a little faster. Still, he only pulled out the pamphlets, determined to learn a little more about what exactly she had been speaking of and offering to help him with.

The first pamphlet he pulled out was on financial aid that her pack offered to its members. As he read through it, he couldn't help but to be impressed by the sheer amount of financial aid her pack offered to its members. There was a section on grant eligibility for such things as new homes or home repairs, private schools and college tuition, vehicle repairs or new vehicle purchases, and even grants for opening small businesses. There were also loans available for those who weren't eligible for the grants. She also offered a variety of financial literacy, investment and financial goals classes online for her pack members as well. As he flipped through the pamphlet, King Reginald couldn't help but to notice that it referred to her pack under the same name that the checks she had given him were written from. URKA.

He pulled out the next pamphlet which spoke of membership benefits. Apparently her pack offered numerous types of insurance, including health insurance which King Reginald thought was weird considering the fact that werewolves rarely dealt with illness. As he read further into the pamphlet he found that the health insurance was mostly for use in areas of mental health and injuries related to battle or vampire attacks. He also noticed that she had a list of hospitals in the pamphlet located all over the world. Some she had marked specifically as Supernatural hospitals, and some were just regular human hospitals. She had them marked as URKA owned hospitals, which he came to understand was the acronym for the name of the rogue pack she had been leading.

As a King, he was rarely impressed by the Alphas that he ruled over, but the more he reviewed her pamphlets, the more impressed he was. Hospitals all over the world, grants and loans for her pack members, specialized classes in numerous different areas available for her pack members, health insurance, and full mental health coverage for her pack members with licensed supernatural mental health specialists. Yes, he was quite impressed. He pulled the third pamphlet out and as he read, he became flabbergasted. Not only did she already invest so much in her pack members, but this pamphlet was on the eight different packland locations all over the world, that her pack members were eligible to relocate to, or even just vacation to if they wanted. Yes, he was quite impressed. Even more so knowing that she already had eight different packland locations, many of which she appeared to use as tourist hot spots, not just for wolves, but different species of supernaturals.

His jet landed at the private airstrip on packland grounds, and he couldn't help but to smile. Soon, he would be telling his mate and son all about the woman that Korrine Prescott had become.

I said hello with hugs to all of the rest of the royals, taking a special moment to recognize my two Lunas, Princesses Sienna and Prya, and their mates, my betas Johnny and Victor. Once I had greeted everyone, I took a seat across my mom and step-dad. I was surprised when Alexander stood from his seat and came to sit next to me. It was a very protective and powerful move for him to make in a room full of Royals, especially since my ex-husband was sitting in one of the single seats scattered in the room. "Well, I see that you've apparently already made your choice Prince Alexander. Now you just have to convince me that you are good enough for my daughter," Mom stated as an Omega brought in a cart with tea kettles and glasses. "Excuse her, she doesn't know how to behave herself." I told him as I sat laid my hand on top of his. "Well, I guess we all know where you get all that sass from now, don't we. Though I'm surprised, of all the things you told us in your interview, you neve

I had spent the evening going over the plans on how we would slowly and quietly take back the kingdom. Once everyone agreed on a plan of attack, we hung out and spent the evening catching up. I mostly spent the evening talking about myself, since I was the one who had been away for so long. The more I talked about all the things I had seen and done, the more everyone wanted to hear more stories. Luckily, the girls, Yara, Duane, Margarita and Marco joined in and gave me an opportunity to stop speaking occasionally. When the topic of the Chirper came up, everyone agreed that I had become her latest obsession, and though she didn't believe I'd actually win the contest, she was obviously a huge fan of mine. We laughed about that off and on all night. The best part of the evening was the way Alexander pulled me into snuggle against him once the sun had set. The way his skin felt against mine was like a warm, soft hum of electricity. He spent the whole evening being attenti

Dearest American Werewolf Kingdom, Well, this author has surely done her due diligence this week and has quite a bit to inform you of. Of course, on Monday I made note of how well our beloved Alpha Prince and our new Female Alpha were getting along, but I would not be the author you all know me to be if I failed to report that those lunch and dinner dates ran all through Alpha Week with our Female Alpha using the skill of her culinary chefs and delectable appearing meals to impress our Alpha Prince. But, please make note that it wasn't just the food that caught the Alpha Prince's attention. As fate would have it, King Reginald chose to move a few topics around for this year's Alpha meetings, resulting in our Female Alpha not only demonstrating how well she knew our laws, but making her own case as for why one law in particular needed removed. The slap heard across the Kingdom occurred at dinner on Tuesday, the second day of Alpha Week, after Kelly Callahan-Caldwell disrespected th

Though we had enjoyed our lunch laughing over the Wardens and the old man clans anger, she continued purchasing she-wolves the rest of the afternoon. By the time dinner rolled around, the wealthiest Alphas in this Kingdom were all furious. She didn't seem to care though, as she laughed with her friends over rare ribeyes, grilled garlic brussel sprouts, and baked potatoes, complete with mojitos of different flavors. The other Alphas and Lunas kept glancing our way, some of them looking envious, others appalled at her behavior. They really had a hard time accepting that she was authentically herself, regardless of who was watching her. She and her leadership team were deep in conversation gossiping about some couple they knew when Lacey and Joey, the Luna and Alpha of The Redwood Coast pack, came walking over. "Well, you ladies dinner looks absolutely scrumptious and I'm stuck eating this salad because I am not touching what they are apparently calling smothered porkchops." Lace

After breakfast, dad and I walked down to the meeting hall. Unsurprisingly, Korrine was already seated, leaning back in her seat on her phone. That part surprised me. Only those who Caldwell deemed worthy were allowed to access the castle's wifi. Knowing Korrine though, she probably figured out another way to get internet access on her phone. She looked up at me and smiled when I walked in. Some things never change. We had always had a such a strong connection that we both instinctively knew when the other had entered a room and exactly where they were located. It wasn't long before everyone filed in and got situated in their seats. My dad had stayed outside to talk to Caldwell and let him know about the switch up for today. The smug smile he walked in wearing told me that he was more than happy to know he would be able to get under Korrine's skin today. Once again, Korrine never stood up from her seat to wait for my father to sit, but them again, it was a sign if respect to the mos

The conversation continued late into the evening. Korrine basically told us that she could easily take our Kingdom by force, but that wasn't what she wanted. She wanted the chance to redeem herself after being publicly ostracized and exiled. I can't say I blamed her. When she left here, everyone was calling her all kinds of horrid names and treating her as if she were trash. The worst part was how they claimed to be doing it all for me. I knew better than to believe those pathetic Alphas' lies though. Korrine had been just as enamored with me as I had been with her; she would have never thrown away what we had, even if she had gotten as drunk as they claimed she was. I had always believed her story, but had been unable to publicly support her out of fear of what they might do to her next. So, I pretended to believe them, and kept my distance from her. She revealed several of her secrets to us during the interview, but none of them had been as shocking as the one that kept me
