Mag-log inMy husband watched me die, and his fated mate wore my crown. That was how my love story ended. Or so I thought. The Moon Goddess had other plans. I woke up years in the past, with every memory of my betrayal intact and one golden opportunity to rewrite my fate. This time, I won't beg for love. I won't bow to anyone. And I certainly won't marry the man who destroyed me. But fate has a twisted sense of humor. Because just when I thought I had escaped one Alpha, I found myself entangled with another. The Alpha King. Cold, ruthless, dangerously handsome… and hiding secrets that could destroy us both. I wanted revenge, not romance. Freedom, not a mate. So why does my wolf recognize him? And why do I have the terrifying feeling that my second life is hiding a secret far more dangerous than my first death? This time, I'm changing my fate. Even if the Moon Goddess herself stands in my way.

I gasped as a sharp pain exploded across my chest, sending me crashing onto the cold floor of my bedroom.
Blood pooled around my shivering body, soaking through my nightgown while my wolf whimpered weakly in the back of my mind.
Standing directly over me was Lilith, her lips curved into a triumphant, wicked smirk that sent a chill through my dying heart.
She was wearing my hand-stitched Luna gown, and around her slender neck hung the silver pack crest that symbolized my position as Luna of the united territories.
"You really believed you were special to him, didn't you?" Lilith purred softly, nudging my bleeding ribcage with the tip of her boot. "You gave him your pack, your loyalty, and your father's total allegiance, thinking it would buy his eternal devotion."
My lips trembled as I tried to summon enough strength to speak, but only a choked sob escaped my throat. My vision blurred around the edges, yet the sight of my precious family crest hanging around her neck burned into my mind like hot iron.
"Aldric only needed your birthright to consolidate his rule over the northern borders," Lilith continued, leaning down so her voice was a faint whisper against my ear. "Now that the merger is completely finalized and official, you are nothing more than an ugly, useless obstacle in our path."
Lilith crouched beside me, reaching out a hand to mockingly trace the line of my trembling jawline.
I flinched away from her touch, but my broken body couldn't retreat fast enough to escape her cruel fingers.
"How pathetic," she laughed, her eyes glittering with dark satisfaction as she watched me struggle for air. "I spent months acting like a fragile, helpless woman just so you would pity me and take me into your home like a stray dog."
I stared up at her through a veil of heavy tears, completely unable to comprehend how the helpless girl I had once protected could become my executioner.
"Look at you now, laying in your own filth on your wedding anniversary," Lilith taunted, adjusting the silver crest resting against her chest. "You gave up everything to earn a love that never belonged to you."
My heart shattered completely. Every sacrifice I had ever made for Aldric flashed before my eyes, each memory turning into a cruel reminder of my own foolishness.
The doors of the bedroom creaked open, and I forced my eyes open, a small flicker of desperate hope flaring inside my chest despite the agonizing pain in my chest.
Aldric walked into the room, his tall figure casting a long, dark shadow across the floor toward me.
"Aldric..." I managed to croak out, my voice barely audible as I stretched a trembling hand toward him. "Please... help me..."
He walked over to stand beside Lilith, looking down at my dying form with eyes that were cold, distant, and completely unbothered.
"She is still breathing, my Alpha," Lilith murmured, wrapping her arms around his waist and resting her cheek against his shoulder. "Should I finish it now?"
Aldric stared at me for a long, agonizing moment, his expression remaining completely blank. Then, without a single word of comfort or denial, he turned his back on me and walked toward the open balcony doors.
"Clean it well," Aldric instructed coldly, "I don't want any stains left on the floor by morning."
Those four bitter words completely destroyed the very last piece of hope I had been desperately clinging to.
The man I had loved with every fiber of my soul, the husband who swore to protect me until death, had explicitly ordered my murder.
Lilith smiled brightly, drawing a silver blade from beneath her cloak as Aldric stepped out onto the balcony without looking back.
She pressed the sharp tip directly against my heart, "Goodbye, Luna Liora," Lilith whispered, driving the blade deep into my chest with a single, ruthless thrust.
Agony tore through me, but as the final darkness closed in, I swore with my very last breath that if the gods ever gave me another chance, neither of them would escape my wrath.
The dark void swallowed my consciousness whole, leaving me floating in a vast, weightless abyss of total silence.
But instead of fading away into nothingness, the darkness suddenly gave way to a blinding silver radiance.
I found myself standing upright on a sea of solid glass, staring directly at a massive silver moon that hovered closely before me.
"Liora of Silver Fang," a resonant voice echoed, "You have suffered great injustice at the hands of those you trusted most."
I lifted my head, my shoulders straightening as I felt the undeniable presence of the Moon Goddess wrapping around my spirit.
"Your thread of fate was cut short by betrayal and deceit," the divine voice continued, "If I give you another life, Liora of Silver Fang, will you choose differently?" the Moon Goddess asked, her voice ringing out.
I raised my head high, my eyes glowing with an intense, silver light as I stared directly into the moon.
"This time, I'll make them regret the day they ever laid eyes on me."
"I don't want a mate."The words slipped past my lips, heavy and sharp, echoing against the towering pillars of the Alpha King's palace. Two royal guards stepped into my path, their spears crossing before my chest. "You have no authority or invitation to enter the royal court, female," the guard on the left barked. "Unmated Alphas with weak borders and unstable pack lines are not granted private audiences with His Majesty. Turn around and leave before we forcibly remove you from the palace grounds.""I am Alpha Liora of Silver Fang, and I demand an audience regarding an outdated, unjust pack law!" I argued fiercely, tilting my chin high to meet his arrogant glare without wavering. "The High Council is using ancient regulations to strip my pack's sovereignty, and only the Alpha King holds the supreme power to overturn their corrupt demands."The guards scoffed, exchanging amused, mocking glances as if I were nothing more than a delusional child throwing a desperate tantrum. "The King d
"Some wolves are born to wear a crown, Liora. Others are born to kneel before the woman who deserves it."Lilith's sharp, high-pitched voice echoed across the open courtyard of the Silver Fang packhouse as she stepped off Aldric's royal carriage.Aldric stepped out right behind her. He clearly expected to find a panicked, tearful young girl begging for his forgiveness after last night's chaotic public rejection.Instead, he stopped dead in his tracks as two dozen Silver Fang guards stepped forward, bowing their heads in submission as I approached the stone stairs."What is the meaning of this foolish performance, Liora?" Aldric demanded, "You rejected my proposal in front of the entire assembly, and now you parade around your packhouse like a wild rogue who has completely lost her senses. I brought the high council elders here today so you could formally apologize for the chaos you caused and accept your rightful place as my Luna.""I have no reason to apologize to you or anyone else,
"If you want to throw away your future, do it alone! Don't drag the entire Silver Fang Pack into your madness!" my father roared as I stepped inside his private study, slamming the door shut behind me.I crossed my arms tightly over my chest, glaring at his furious expression while maintaining my ground against his overwhelming Alpha presence that usually made everyone in the room tremble. In my previous life, I would have cowered instantly under his gaze, offering apologies for daring to question his supreme authority over my life and future."You think you can just humiliate Alpha Aldric in front of the entire council and face no consequences whatsoever?" he demanded."I merely spoke the truth that everyone else was too cowardly to voice out loud," I replied calmly, tilting my head back as I met his enraged stare, "Our pack has been bleeding out slowly for years because you traded our dignity and independence for empty political promises.""Our territory has been weakening because r
"I, Liora of Silver Fang, reject your proposal, Alpha Aldric!"The loud music blared through the grand hall. Wolves laughed in groups, while elders gathered near the throne for the annual Mating Ceremony.I blinked rapidly, my breathing coming in short, panicked gasps as I gripped the fabric of my dress. My hand trembled violently as I raised it to touch my chest, searching for the deep, gaping stab wound Lilith had delivered. There was no blood, I turned around frantically, stumbling slightly as my high heels caught on the edge of the carpet. My eyes landed on a mirror. The woman staring back at me didn't have hollow eyes, pale skin, or dark bruises under her cheeks.I was eighteen again, standing in the exact same dress I wore years ago before my entire world crumbled into ashes.A terrible wave of nausea washed over me, making my knees buckle slightly as terrifying memories flooded my mind. I could still hear Lilith's cruel laughter echoing in my ears, mocking my foolish devotion a
