It was finally Saturday morning. I was glad I didn’t have to get up straight out of bed. I had a few minutes to myself to think. At that second though, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to think about. I had an OB appointment this morning so I switched my work times up today. Tim was in the waiting room with me. It’s been over a month since I found out I was pregnant and today I was supposed to have my first ultrasound. I was super excited but nervous too. Tim must have seen my nerves kick in, so he put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me in. “I’m sure everything will be fine. No need to worry sis.” His words comforted me. Finally it was my turn and they called me back. Tim asked if I wanted him to go back with me, and the technologist whispered in my ear that I would have to remove my pants in the room. I could hear Will’s chair scrape against the floor as I ran out of the room. I didn’t think I’d make it running in my heels so I kicked them off on my way to the bathroom so hopefully I could make it there a little faster. Since it was so late, I was the only one in the women’s room. Thank God since I was hurling everything I just ate up. Another month had passed and I was about to finish my first trimester of pregnancy. Part of me was super relieved and the other part was scared to death. I had to tell Jared… soon. Not to mention I was starting to see something of a bump on myself… against all my efforts. I was soon going to need a new wardrobe with slightly baggier clothes if I was going to keep my secret longer at work too.Work has been great. I had never been to Langley’s before since it was pretty fancy and definitely a new spot downtown. I rummaged through my closet to see if I had anything nice to wear. I pulled several dresses out and tried each one on in front of the mirror. The first one was way too short for business meal. The second.. well, I thought it showed to much boob.
