Day 3 –Putting It All Into Action

Dawn's rosy fingers crept over the horizon, bathing the forest in soft golden light. Today is the last day I will finally train before I face Luthien at the canyon's end.

As I finished strapping on my weathered leather armour, nerves and anticipation warred within me.

Jeremy placed a steadying hand on my shoulder. "How are you feeling?"

I took a deep breath, muscles tense like coiled springs. "Ready. Scared, but ready."

Jeremy nodded. "Fear can sharpen your instincts. But remember your training, and trust your abilities."

Bolstered by his faith in me, I followed Jeremy through the forest toward our secluded training area. We had one final day to refine my skills before facing Luthien tonight beneath the full moon.
