CELIA’S FIRST PERSON POINT OF VIEW

I watched on as he got defensive in his explanation.

“We were only trying to protect you from harm’s way and of course, we could not have told you about the attack. In fact, you would most likely not believe. What you would not do however is try to accuse me or your mother of something that outrageous.” He slammed.

My father walked off in anger after defending himself and my mother. She just sat there sniffing too. I got up and went to my room. I shut the door and locked it then collapsed in my bed crying my eyes out. My phone beeped in my pocket then later rang but I did not bother. The day had been awful enough. I did not have energy for anyone or anything at that moment. I slept off in my tears.

The ray of the sun shone through my window right on my face and that woke me up from my sleep. It felt like I had been sleeping for a longer time than I had slept. I was weak and my head felt like it had split into two as it was aching badly. I could feel
