Chapter 104

Alpha Jasper's POV

After leaving Beta Raymond's home, I returned to the pack house with a deep scowl etched on my face. Seeing my facial expression, the maids and guards who were loitering around maintained composure with the head bent to the ground.

Now in the courtroom with Beta Jacob, I asked for a glass of wine and when he returned with it, I relieved him. Just when I wanted to take a sip from it, I halted.

“Sip.” I said, pushing the glass into his hand.

At once he received it from me and then kept on taking sips until I was satisfied with the quantity he had consumed.

Since nothing happened to him, I relieved him from the glass and then down the remaining content and for the minutes that followed, I continued sipping from my glass of wine, trying to forget all that had happened but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Killing Mabel didn't even move me a bit. Though she took the fall for Selena, I still wasn't satisfied.

Selena was my target and she was the one I wanted to kill,
