Chapter 1

Hannah

I hold back tears of emotion as I look at myself in the mirror, the last thing I wanted was to ruin the perfect makeup, it had taken me two hours, not to mention all the time I had invested in my hair, the dress, the accessories, my bridesmaids, my mother…I can't help but smile like an idiot as emotions take over me, I've always been sentimental, and now, on my wedding day, the day I've been waiting for so long, I can't help but feel overwhelmed, the woman who looks back at me in the mirror seems like a fantasy, I find it hard to believe that it's me.

My blonde hair was perfectly styled in waves to the side, framing my face and adorned with tiny diamonds that sparkled with the movement of my head, an expensive little tiara held my veil up, my makeup matched my features perfectly, bringing out my green eyes, making me feel completely beautiful, the dress, which had taken almost six months to make on my own, was exactly as I had imagined it that first day, a corset with a princess neckline, an elegant design and completely hand embroidered covered my  breasts and the side of my shoulders, the transparent fabric that covered the rest, had small diamonds that would catch the eye, the long tulle skirt was soft and leafy, it would be the final design of my spring collection, and there was no better place to use it on my wedding day.

I am alone in the hotel room while my bridesmaids made sure everything was ready, in less than two hours, I would officially be the wife of Patrick O'hara, I couldn't contain my excitement, as a wedding dress designer, I had always fantasized when it would finally be me on the other side of the room, it would finally be me saying yes, and I couldn't be happier about it, taking a deep breath to try and hold back the tears of emotion, I turn away from the mirror, giving a look at the rest of the room, which was a complete chaos, after all, for the last four hours I had been making sure that everything was perfect, although of course, I fully trusted my organizer, Jazmin, who was also my best friend and bridesmaid, we had met due to business, I dressed her brides to be , and finally she had organized my wedding, apart from introducing me to Patrick.

I look at the time, nervous, what if something went wrong? What if Patrick backed out? For a second my heart sank, when I met Patrick, I had fallen completely in love with him, his blond hair slightly faded from the California sun, his tanned skin and white teeth had been enough to make my heart skip a beat, he was the youngest of the O'hara brothers, so our marriage would be beneficial to our families, although I had tried to stay away from my father's name, he had been more than pleased to know that Patrick had proposed to me, My father's name was worth millions, and being his only daughter, not at all interested in following in his footsteps, marrying someone competent like the O'haras was perfect for him.

Although he was happy for me, I couldn't help feeling insecure, Patrick could be feeling pressured by my father, he had always insisted on how much it irritated him to have to carry the name O'hara, despite being the younger brother, he had an important role as head of the legal team at his father's firm, so he wasn't interested in running the Hoffamns' company, which was what my father was trying to achieve with all this.

The bedroom door opens, taking me by surprise, my friend Jazmin and my mother enter the room gossiping and laughing, my mother, who looks beautiful in her light blue dress, and dark hair tied up in a modest bun, looks at me up and down with a proud smile and wet eyes

"God, how beautiful you are" she says, taking my hands in hers "Are you ready?" she asks proudly, I nod, even though I'm terrified and nervous, I've waited for this day for years.

Jazmin, with her short hair and funny look, smiles sympathetically, knowing that I am on the verge of crying, she approaches me, her dress, also designed by me, is emerald green, my favorite color and it fits perfectly. with her brown skin

“Everything is going to be alright, Hannah,” she assures me, “today is your special day, remember?”

I nod, trying to relax a bit, my hands were freezing, so my mother caresses them lightly, trying to warm them up.

“Your father is dying to see you” she informs “I am so proud of you, my girl” she assures

"Thank you mom" I say thankful to know that she was there for me, my mother was one of my greatest inspirations, thanks to her I had become the great designer she was today.

“Okay, Miriam, I need you to get John ready for the hike to the altar, I'm going to inform the guests to go to the chapel, and to make sure that Patrick is not having a nervous breakdown" Jazmin said when she saw the time, before leaving, she gave me a hug "I'm really happy for you" he assured "Patrick doesn't know how lucky he is to have you"

Feeling flattered, I watch them leave, once I'm alone again, I return to my old position in front of the mirror, feeling like the luckiest woman in the world.

Micah

She is alone in the room now, I know this because the camera had been installed correctly, after ten attempts to get image and audio in the room, I could get a view of her, she was looking at herself in the mirror, her back was to the camera. , but he could get a faint image of his face in the mirror.

I wouldn't deny it, the woman was beautiful, but judging by the amount of time she had spent admiring herself, completely vain, the press and the kind of guests in the place must also be a clue as to how much the woman wanted attention. Putting on a great show should be an easy goal, but it would be a pain in the ass to get it done in the midst of all the media chaos. Normally I find this type of work boring, but was it really necessary to do it in the middle of the wedding? Why couldn't I just kidnap the woman on her honeymoon? Or at night when the stupid woman went running without No kind of protection or company, I've definitely had a couple of chances to get her, but no, the client had specifically requested that she go that day, under those circumstances.

I look at my watch, I have exactly four minutes before the father makes his way to her, and then another seven minutes before I get to the car and get the hell out of here, if I could get it all done in less than ten minutes it would be a personal record, but having to sedate the woman would be the hard part, the dress was huge and therefore hard to hide.

The buzz of my phone distracts me from the image on the screen, it's my brother, feeling the familiar feeling that I'm about to get hit by the son of a bitch, I look around, there was no way he was supervising a job by his own, right?

I stand up, ready to make my way to the bride's room, her name was Hannah Hoffman, wedding dress designer, daddy's favorite daughter, and according to her bank account, completely broke unless she married O' Hara, to have her own design line, really did have an awful way of handling finances.

I am dressed as a bellboy, so I must be able to go through the corridor to the room and from there to the entrance without problems, I take the laundry cart with me, taking a couple of the sheets from the room to cover it and deposit it inside, Along with the tablet and monitor, I take the anesthetic from others and pour it on a hand towel, although normally my job should be to protect the woman from guys who want to do exactly what I'm doing, it had to be done this way, since apparently, the woman was in danger and we had to get there first.

Once I'm ready, I review the image again, looking for the father on the screen, the man is supposed to be waiting in the hallway, but the time had come and I couldn't risk the nosy bridesmaid ruining my plan, so I leave the room as I put the intercom back in place, my brother's irritated voice coming from the other end almost immediately.

“What the fuck is taking you so long?” he asks, I roll my eyes, like always, Jonah had his head up his ass, if I didn't know him so well and knew he's been like this his whole life, I'd venture to say that he needed to fuck a good woman, but he'd probably kick me for even hinting about his sex life, even if I know the details

"The father is not in position" I complain, the hall is empty, the only sound at the moment was the screeching of the tires of the basket

"He's in the elevator" he informed "you have two minutes, I want you in and out, as fast as possible" he growled, amused by his choice of words, I bite my tongue avoiding the comment, joking during work always managed to make him lose his temper , which was funny considering the always uptight image he maintained.

God, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the son of a bitch.

I get to the bride's room and knock a couple of times, but the woman takes a couple of seconds to open, the sound of the elevator marking a limit of my time, she seems surprised to see me, as well as confused, but I don't have Time for some kind of fun punchline before I pounced on her, pulling the hand-towel over her face, though it takes effect almost immediately, the woman doesn't miss an opportunity to deliver a kick straight to my crotch, fear in her eyes before I the medicine making her pass out almost makes me feel bad for her, after all, I had heard her talk about how much she loved that idiot O'hara and how she would marry him and give him many children, so much it was ridiculous.

Her body quickly falls into my arms, so I pick her up, careful not to hurt her, and toss her into the dirty clothes, the fact that her dress was white helped a little, but it was hard to hide the lace and fucking. veil, I manage to get everything inside anyway, making sure I don't accidentally suffocate her before closing the bedroom door and going on my way, pretending I hadn't just kidnapped the daughter of one of the richest men in the country.

I don't find anyone on my way to the elevator, where the father of the bride, John Hoffman, greets me with a nod, casting a nervous look towards the cart where his daughter was, the situation was slightly amusing.

“Have a nice day” the man says before exiting the elevator looking nervous, I nod, avoiding answering and pressing the button to close the elevator before the man has a chance to give me a second look, I really had no intention of interacting. with no one all the way.

It would take Hannah about twenty minutes to wake up, so that's going to be a fun explanation to make, and I don't intend to be the one to get slapped first when she finally started fighting, the only reason i didn't  feel the kick so hard was because the drugs worked before she could actually hitme, evidently being kidnapped, it would take a couple of tries to get talking with her, so I plan on leaving it up to the boss, Jonah would definitely have to resist the urge to pat the woman on the ass if she gave him any kind of fight, during their minimal exchange I could see that he wouldn't be convinced that they were the good so easily.
