Selene looked him up and down — his casual style of dressing, his gentle demeanor, his soft pleasant voice — while thinking of how he rarely ever spoke to her.

Her heart gave a small flutter.

“It’s nothing”, she said demurely, “We were just having some fun with Jane”.

Jealousy surged through Yashi at the sight of Darren Leister standing next to Jane. Her face twisted in savage fury. The nerve of that wh*re, to try and steal the man she liked.

“Stop doing this injustice to yourself, Selene”, then she turned to the two men, “We were confronting Jane about her scheming intentions”.

“She knocked into Selene first without apologizing. She’s an ill mannered bas*ard child with no parents and she has been living off the Harrisons for years, but is bullying Selene behind their backs!”
