“Where are we going again,” complains Xander for the millionth time.

“We are going to town to help a human remodel their house. He seems like a sweet man who lost his family.”

“That is so sweet of you Kat. You’ll be an amazing luna one day,” says Georgia.

She still doesn’t quite understand how one becomes luna but I leave it be. I don’t need to be a luna of a pack.

“We could be up the river right now,” grumbles Kyle.

I ignore the boys’ protests as we arrive at Leon’s house. I knock on the door and Leon greets us with a smile.

“Good morning dear. I was quite surprised to get your call. Thank you so much for willing to help me.”

“No problem Leon. These are my cousins, Xander and Skye, and our friends Kyle and Georgia.”
