Summer’s POV

We took Nathan to a recovery room after we finished suturing his scalp back in place. The blood results came back, and there was an extremely high dose of wolfsbane in his system. His body must be strong, very strong, to survive such a high dose.

“What we really need now is for his wolf to regain consciousness and do his job and heal him. The only thing I can do now is to keep replenishing the intravenous fluids and get the wolfs bane out of his system faster.” I tell Florence, who is there, talking to him in a loving manner, stroking his hand. “Is there anyone you want me to contact, Florence? Other family members, friends. Siblings perhaps?”

She looks at me. “No, there is no one. Just us.”

“That’s a unique scar he has on his eyebrow. I have only ever seen one before. How did he get it?” I asked her, trying to figure out if this man is the person, I think he is.
