Chuck's POV

I wanted Leonardo Elliot to die! I always did! He was a Duke Vampire, who represents the highest power of all the Vampire families. Yet, I was just a Marquess Vampire. The council had a preference for him for his contribution of driving away the Werewolf. To be frank, I could do it. I had that ability. It was just a matter of trust. They didn’t trust me, nor did they assume that I could accomplish the mission.

Werewolf was the lowest specie among all the races. I hated them. Getting a bite of them would risk a life of Vampire. I tried not to get close to them. Thus, if there was some need of me to clean all the Werewolf up, I would do that. In that way, the only Duke would definitely be me!
