A knight’s Loyalty

It was evening by the time Kal was shown to his room. The vicious stares he got from every side and direction were completely different from the looks of worship and adoration he got back in his kingdom.

Still, he didn’t seem to mind it.

“I’m here to get the job done, nothing more…” he thought to himself, getting back on his feet, out of the chair he sat in the moment he entered his room, already turning the door handle to leave only to suddenly pause with a confused expression on his face.

He had thoughts of heading straight for Hurai’s room but the more he thought about it, the more he felt that doing so was a bad idea.

He had no excuse to be seen close to her room and it didn’t help that he was a visitor and also a vampire.
