A New Face

DIANA'S POV

"Huh! I didn't get caught?" I mumbled as I quickly inspected my head to see if it was still in place.

The King didn't bother to look back at me because he was very angry and I couldn't tell why, I mean what could have made that monster so angry that he didn't recognize me?

Well, that was good for me, at least, I still got a chance to kill him.

I remained rooted to the ground as I watched him walk away with so much magnificence. How can someone be so confident while doing evil things? The anger in me reignited. I just felt like running after him and stabbing his heart but that would be too risky when he is surrounded by so many Lords and Guards.

Once the King and his people were far out of the hallway towards the palace gate, I began to hear murmurs about my attitude.

"She must really have a death wish." A voice commented.

"She's got so much gut, but I can tell that guts will definitely get her killed." Another voice whispered.
