On getting to their room, Cole saw Myra sitting by the window but she locked it and left the curtain in place, making it give the illusion that nobody was there. Although Cole felt her in the room while he was outside, he didn’t know that she was just behind the curtain.

“I don’t understand you Cole. I certainly wish I did.” Myra started softly and Cole sighed.

Of course she would hear the conversation he had with Brett. Still he asked. “You heard?”

“I did and I still don’t understand how you would just agree to Brett once about the same thing which I have been telling you about for days now. Things which you were too stubborn to even listen well to what I was trying to say!” Myra stated.

Cole winced. “Maybe I needed someone else opinion?”

“Maybe, or maybe I am not the one who doesn’t value this mate bond between us.” Myra stated and Cole sucked in a deep breathe.
