Genesis staggered, and Kieran caught her, his hands wrapping firmly around her waist, their chests pressing together. She took a deep breath and looked up at him. His eyes glittered with amusement, and he looked so composed—while she was anything but. Her neck was marked with hickeys, her cheeks flushed red and flustered, and her hair was a mess from him running his hands through it.

Her legs wobbled like jelly—from being tossed over his shoulder or wrapped around his waist, she wasn’t sure which.

She frowned up at him, pouting. Why did he look so calm and untouched? Meanwhile, she looked like a wild raccoon had attacked her.

“Stop pouting. You’re going to make me want to fuck you again...” His words barely left his mouth before she pulled away from his arms.

Kieran chuckled. “Come on, princess, I’m not going again.”

She shook her head and stepped back, but before she could move far, he was right in front of her, a hand sliding around her neck. He stared at the marks there, took a slo

Genesis’s body throbbed with pain. She had been slammed against the floor and walls so many times she’d lost count. Blood from her nose and split lips painted the ground like a canvas. They had been at it for hours—since morning. Cady and the rest of the girls had left. They couldn’t bear to watch. Even Knight had walked out.“Get up and hit me. Don’t be such a bitch,” Selene said, looking down at Genesis, who lay on the ground, wincing.Genesis began crawling toward her, her trembling hand reaching for Selene’s leg. But Selene raised her foot and kicked her hard in the stomach.Genesis's mouth opened in a silent scream, blood trailing from her lips.“I said get up,” Selene snapped. “We’ve been here for hours and you haven’t landed a single hit.”She tilted her head, smiling, then glanced toward the wall. “Seems Knight made a mistake,” she muttered. The words stabbed into Genesis. Tears spilled down her cheeks.“Why would he marry someone like this? How are you supposed to protect him

  • The Womanizer's Mute Wife    She Gets Back Up

Genesis stirred in her sleep, lashes fluttering. She stretched lazily, eyes still closed, and reached her hand to the other side of the bed—empty... and cold. Her eyes snapped open. The room was dark. She shot upright.Where am I? Panic gripped her chest like a vise.Where’s Kieran? Her heartbeat thundered in her ears. This wasn’t their bedroom. She didn’t recognize the walls, the smell, or the eerie silence. Her body trembled as she climbed off the bed, the floorboards icy beneath her bare feet. She walked around slowly, shivering, and reached out again—no bedside table, no familiar lamp. Her heart pounded harder. Her knees nearly buckled. But she didn’t crumble. She didn’t hide in the corner or break down in tears.Instead, she straightened her spine, took a deep breath, and climbed back onto the bed, rummaging through the blankets for her phone.Where is it? she thought frantically. Her fingers brushed something solid—smooth, rectangular. Her phone. Relief swept over her. She turne

Red turned to Revelation, who was pounding her fist into the punching bag like it had personally wronged her. Each blow landed with brutal force, as if she had some deep, unresolved beef with it.Pulling the cigar from her mouth, Red exhaled slowly, letting smoke curl into the air as she watched her daughter. She didn’t speak—of course she knew what was wrong. But something else was swirling in her head, something she couldn't shake. It was the difference between her daughters. Her lips curled faintly, remembering the moment she finally saw Genesis after twenty-three long years. It had taken everything not to reach out and grab her right then and there. Just thinking about it now made her chest tighten painfully. And as for that difference… it was clear as day. Revelation was like Eve—born to fight, to challenge. And Genesis? She was like dawn—quiet, soft, but with a light you couldn’t ignore. Even in her unsure, uncertain posture, there was no fear. That surprised Red more than anyth

Damon stepped into Knight’s office, which was directly adjacent to the room where Genesis was sleeping. He stopped a few feet from the desk. Knight didn’t turn to face him—he just stood silently, gazing out the glass wall that overlooked the endless stretch of mountains. After a moment, Knight finally turned, his cold eyes meeting Damon’s. He stared at him for a few seconds too long, and that made Damon’s stomach twist. Something was off. Then Knight spoke. “They found the tapes.”Damon’s chest tightened. “Yeah. I heard.”Knight nodded once. “I know. But that’s not why I called you here.”Damon stayed silent, unsure. Knight reached for a white envelope on the desk and slid it toward him. Damon’s heart skipped a beat.Had he done something wrong? Had one of the men?He couldn’t think of anything. He picked up the envelope with slightly trembling fingers and tore it open. As he unfolded the paper inside and read the contents, his eyes grew wider and wider. Then he looked up at Knight, s

Genesis's legs felt like jelly as they made their way toward the car. Knight glanced down at her, his arm wrapped firmly around her waist to steady her. She looked up at him with a furrowed brow, and his smirk widened.“It’s jet lag, Princess.”Her frown deepened. Knight leaned down and swept her up into his arms. She instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck and sighed in relief. Her legs were grateful. He laughed. “We’ve really come a long way, haven’t we? I still remember how you used to flinch when I so much as brushed against you. Now I carry you around, and you love it.”Genesis’s cheeks flamed, and he rubbed their noses together playfully.Behind them, his men exchanged looks. They'd long lost count of the times their boss had gone soft and cheesy around her. It was... strange. This was Knight, after all. Not Kieran.Genesis had both sides of her husband wrapped tightly around her little finger.“Anyway, jet lag is—” Knight paused as one of the men opened the back door of

Monica turned around and looked back at the house, where she had lived for years and now she couldn't really believe she was leaving it.She didn’t want to leave. Not like this. Not with nothing. But her heels were already clicking across the floor, echoing hollow and cold. The guards didn’t push. They didn’t need to.Her sons followed behind—Jimmy looking like a kicked dog, and Mark, now had no smirk on his face, he wasn’t even talking. At the front door, she stopped. She turned, just once, taking in the foyer one final time. The chandelier. The staircase. The stained-glass crest above the hallway—Caldwell, it read. But it didn’t belong to her anymore.Behind her, the estate staff stood like quiet statues, watching. And at her side, Mr. Parker cleared his throat. “The car is waiting.”Jimmy blinked, coming to a shaky stop just beside his mother. “Wait—where are we even going?”Parker raised an eyebrow, then stepped down one marble stair, buttoning his jacket.“To the Royal Crest Hote
