Maria's POV

I got to the office earlier than usual, It was a Monday morning and I had to work on some of the files that would be used for the Franco deal, I hoped and prayed that I'll have little or no contact with Javier.

While I was preparing the file, I got a call from Javier. Seeing his call sent shivers down my spine and I was just lost even while looking at my phone ring.

"He's still your boss" I thought

"Maria, John will be coming to the office to get me the Franco files because I won't be coming around at least for the next one month" he said
