EMMA

I have never felt so much happiness before, seriously. Could the world seem brighter? I don’t think it could! Everything felt like a dream I had conjured up.

After I and Rowan had returned to the apartment that morning, we didn’t leave each other's side. He stayed wrapped around me even when I called up the hospital for my mom’s update; even though he didn’t say a thing, he was there.

I woke up in my room in the penthouse apartment to see Rowan by my side and in my room. I couldn't help but lay and admire him as his chest rose and fell. God, he was so handsome, and he was mine. He told me he was going to try.

"Do you like what you see?" Rowan’s voice called, breaking my thoughts off as I realized with a gasp that he was awake and had the nerve to smirk.

"God, Rowan!" I called as I hit his hand and rolled out of bed, only for him to stage me back and turn me until he was on top of me.

Rowan smiled, a genuine one that made my heart flutter, before he bent down to kiss me as his hand
