“ What?” Emma asked, taken aback by Rowans sudden request,

“My mother may not have told you this, but I would accept her proposal for the rehabilitation of your mother if you agreed to do the test.”

He exhaled casually, his hands tucked back in his pockets. He had a cold look on his devilishly handsome features that always held Emma’s hostage to his request.

“So I just need to do a paternity test, right?"

Emma called Rowan, who was surprised by her demeanor as she didn’t do much as flinch at his request.

But Emma was more than sure that this child belonged to him, and if that was the only way to get his trust and get the treatment for her mother, she would gladly do it. She already signed a contract anyway, and this baby is not going anywhere.

“Alright then, I will do it,” she agreed.

“Since the baby is not mature yet, we will have to wait a few weeks to determine it,” he added. "But when the time comes, do not try to forfeit,” he warned Emma, but Emma’s just laid a hand on her belly
