Anna had arrived back home to the Duke’s manor, since he had things to attend to, she had missed him for the whole day

She returned to see maid and servants waiting to greet her on her return from the palace, she honestly couldn’t wait to leave after the useless stunt Beth-Roses sister had pulled at the spring bath, she was livid

But seeing the familiar walls of the manor put her heart at ease “ welcome back your highness” they all chorused Boeing their head as she came down from the carriage

Taking her gloves off, she smiled at the maid who she was now close acquainted with, even the rumors of what Eloise had done, she had made an effort to get closer to them

“ your grace” one of the maids called as she followed Anna in, “ the prince had also arrived from his journey a few hours prior, he is in his study”
