The presentation was gruesome. Questions were thrown from all members of the panel but I came ready with my answers so I made sure to answer as best as I could until my turn was over.

I returned to sit beside Damien and he secretly gave me a thumbs up as I arranged my files and kept my laptop.

“You did perfectly well. Well done Sophia” he whispered and I smiled in return.

“Thanks, Damien” I whispered too and we stopped our exchange when the woman seated beside us cleared her throat before shooting us a glare.

Then it was time for Aiden to start his presentation and I held my breath in fear that his would be better than mine.
