CHAPTER 17

　　" Why is everyone staring at me like that?", Alessia furrowed, looking at the maids who didn't take their eyes off of her. They kept checking on her openly, watching her every move as she moved to the corner to prepare the food. The maid who was in charge of cooking the food for Raven had gone to her village. So, the responsibility had fallen on her according to the custom.

　　The maid who was a little warm to her replied in a low voice,

　　" Don't you know? Last night, the king personally carried you into the castle. Moreover, he punished those rude concubines, offending the king and others. So, everyone thinks that he dotes on you now."
